About the villa
This exceptional villa is set in a quiet farming valley of the Gozitan countryside. Secluded in a two hectare private estate next to the sea it is surrounded by mature gardens and has an infinity-style pool and a separate sports area offering tennis, basketball hoop, soccer ball, and frisbee.
Idyllic in summer or winter, the beautiful, contemporary residence retains original architectural features. The calm and stylish interior has been designed and refurbished by award-winning German designers bsk buro + designhaus Gmbh.
The villa is configured as two adjoined, but independent, wings with three bedrooms each. In total there are 6 bedrooms (4 doubles, 2 double/twins) accommodating up to 12 people.
The main wing includes a large open-plan living area with two sitting areas and a TV snug. There are spacious and comfortable sitting areas to share time together, with media equipment and books for entertainment. Adjacent is a dining area for twelve served by a fully equipped kitchen with breakfast area. There are three double bedrooms with en-suite facilities comfortably accommodating up to six people. The large terrace offers another dining area, as well as lounging benches and sunbeds overlooking the gardens and sea.
The adjoining wing offers integral, yet self-contained, accommodation with a sitting room with TV, a small fully-equipped kitchen with breakfast table and three en-suite bedrooms which can accommodate a further six people. This wing can offer a quiet retreat if the main wing is being used for entertainment.
Amenities include daily housekeeping, satellite mesh wifi, hot and cold air conditioning, underfloor heating, bluetooth speaker, ping pong table, books, cards and board games.
The villa's contemporary interior is calming and comfortable with large windows looking on to the gardens and seascape. The ground floor layout is open-plan leading out on to an outdoor paved terrace that wraps around the south-east and south-west of the villa, perfectly designed for barbecues and al fresco living, and offering 360 views.
Located in a farming valley, the estate covers over two hectares. The established gardens offer languorous paths through manicured lawns bordered with Mediterranean flowers and herbs. Citrus, pomegranate and prickly pear trees are close. To the north of the mature rose garden are olive trees and a vegetable garden. Vineyards and olive groves on the slopes around the house offer naturally beautiful terraces where you can wander.
Close to the villa on the south side is a barbecue pit and a tennis court with a basketball hoop at one end, while to the north-east is the swimming pool and access to the sea. Paths meander through the garden to the bocce pitch and a number of stone benches looking out over the sea. There is a 340 metre walking track around the gardens. Highlights include

Below the garden is a flat rock beach where sunbeds and umbrellas offer respite from the summer sun. The bay is protected and the water is clear. Salt-pans are dotted along the shore and a pool dug from the rock can be filled to offer protected swimming for novices. Boats can approach the boat ramp or the side of the shore to dis/embark passengers.

Catering: we can offer contacts for a number of local chefs. Arrange a chef to assist with food preparation. Fresh produce from the fruit and vegetable trucks is usually excellent. Greens, Arkadia and Daily Fresh supermarkets offer a good variety of provisions and in addition there are specialty food shops catering to Asian and South American menus..
Spa services can be organised on site or you can visit a choice of spas on the island.
Eating out in Michelin restaurants to friendly cafes is delightful.

There is absolutely nothing I would or could change about this amazing place. The home was perfect but the entire STAY was perfect. Paul the house manager addressed the few minor questions we had swiftly and was so kind and helpful. Michele the housekeeper was truly lovely and if you have the chance to have Marcelle come to help with breakfasts and lunches and grocery shopping you MUST say yes. Every corner of the home boasts another amazing view; the furnishings are so beautiful and comfortable and the layout was ideal for a multi-generational family. Long story short(ish): I genuinely wept upon leaving, and imaging myself back on the patio, overlooking the sea, will be my “happy place” for the rest of my days. If you CAN book this place (because it is not often available), then you MUST. Just not on the weeks that I hope to book! Thank you to Warren and Paul and Michele and Marcelle and everyone who made this a once-in-a-lifetime stay.

The property was in a prime location and very beautiful . Each morning you wake to see a different view from one of the many windows and having the pool and beach area ment a swim in the sea each morning was lovely. All the staff were very helpful and were quick to help out if needed. We were there for a wedding party and to use the villa as our base were all our family and guests were blown away by the villa. We would like to thank everyone involved in making it such a wonderful experience.
